Zimolong Overturns Award of Public Contract

On June 30, 2016, Wally Zimolong successful challenged the proposed award of contract for the construction of a multi-million sewage treatment plant in New Jersey.  Wally represented the second low bidder on the project.  He filed a complaint requesting a injunction halting the award of the contract to the low bidder and award the contract instead to his client because of technical defects in the apparent low bidder’s proposal.  After briefing and argument, the Superior Court of New Jersey (Burlington County) agreed with Wally and overturned the authority’s award of the contract to the apparent low bidder.  With the apparent low bidder’s bid rejected, the sewer authority awarded the contract to his client.  A copy of the Court opinion can be found HERE.
